What is WASFAA? 

WASFAA is a non-profit organization that provides support to financial aid administrators and other agencies involved in the administration of financial aid programs in Wisconsin's post-secondary educational institutions. It is comprised of over 400 members representing over 100 institutions (colleges, agencies, and lending institutions) throughout the state.

WASFAA also provides professional development opportunities to financial aid administrators, high school counselors, and office professional staff. 

WASFAA has two conferences per year typically held in late April and early November. These 3-day 2-night events provide members an opportunity for professional development and networking.

There are three categories of individual membership for WASFAA:

  • Regular
  • Associate
  • Retired
