    Director of Financial Aid

    Ripon College is seeking applications and nominations for a Director of Financial Aid, reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment.  Ripon College, founded in 1851, is an independent, residential liberal arts and sciences college with an enrollment of nearly 900 students from 33 states and 14 foreign countries.  Ripon is nationally recognized for its quality undergraduate education.

    The Director supervises financial aid staff, monitors day-to-day operations of financial aid program, implements policy, advises students and parents on matters involving financial aid and serves as the College's authority on federal and state financial aid programs, including a working knowledge and understanding of the regulations and eligibility requirements governing these programs.

    The Director serves on multiple campus committees which includes the Student Account Committee, the Retention Task Force Committee, and the College Scholarship Committee. The Director represents the College to various constituencies including professional organizations, high schools, parents and students.

    Qualifications:  A bachelor's degree and five years financial aid experience at the college level is required, a master's degree preferred.  Demonstrated management, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are essential. Experience developing packaging policies to maximize enrollment and net tuition revenue is desirable. Extensive knowledge of computer applications and systems (e.g. PowerFaids, Jenzabar EX System, etc.) is important. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
